We do not heat press or glue patches that will peel off. All of our patches are securely sewn directly to the hat.
As our name implies, we only use real cowhide leather to create our patches. We never use 'leatherette' because it contains no leather at all. It is commonly made from a type of plastic called polyvinyl chloride, also known as PVC. Yes, like a drainpipe under your kitchen sink!
We use premium quality full grain leather for our hat patches. Full grain leather is the entire thickness of the cowhide, not paper-thin pieces. It is also one of the highest grades of leather available.
